Shoal Bay can arrange a half or full days professionally guided fishing trip where you will be picked up and dropped off at our dock. We will arrange for one of the very top local fishing guides will privately take you to the areas most secret trophy fishing spots. Heli fishing is also available.

Highly respected and family owned Grizzly Helicopters will pick you up at your cottage and then take you on a breathtaking tour of the local inlets, lakes, and perhaps even drop on top of a glacier for a picnic and perhaps a bottle of wine.

 Fly-fishing in one of the remote otherwise inaccessible streams is also a favourite.

Join accomplished and passionate wildlife photographer Viktor Davare for  an unforgettable tour of our local area, small group tour in  a safe modern watercraft with an opportunity to capture unforgettable images of wildlife and natural scenes. 

Explore the local channels and inlets viewing the multitude of wildlife that thrives in our raincoast environment.Intimate sightings of both orca and humpback whales, Grizzly and black bear, as well as dolphins, eagles, and wolves are possible.  Discovery West Adventures can accomodate groups up to 12 people in heated in a modern, heated tour boat.

Spend time in Cynthia’s ceramic studio where she creates amazing pieces that reflect the Raincoast lifestyle.  Create beautiful hand built pieces under the guidance of a world class potter. Learn basic skills and leave shoal bay with a piece of your own creation that will be both a treasure and a reminder of your time at Shoal Bay.
